Remarkable World Renowned Spanish Concert Returns to Shenzhen

SOUNDS FROM SPAIN, world renowned Spanish Flemenco, Piano and Guitar Concert, is returning to Shenzhen for their second concert Thursday November 16th, 2017. The show, starting at 8pm, is a concert composed by an original program, with the greatest hits of Spanish flamenco and classical music.

RED Fire Danger Warning Issued: Risk of Fire is Extreme

At 6am Sunday October 22nd, 2017, the Hong Kong Observatory issued the Red Fire Danger Warning to alert the public to conditions in which fires may start and spread easily. The fire risk is Extreme.
Fire Precautions

Light fires only in designated barbecue sites or camp sites. Never leave a fire unattended; and extinguish all fires before you leave.
Never burn off rubbish or weeds when there is a strong wind.
Handle and dispose of cigarettes and matches with care.
Only burn joss sticks and "paper money" in containers.
Do not overload the electricity circuit by using too many plugs and appliances.

Just hours ago, a worst-case scenario for Wi-Fi devices was released to the public.
Security researcher at a university in Belgium, Mathy Vanhoef, has discovered and publicly disclosed a serious vulnerability in the WPA2 encryption protocol used by Wi-FI networks that completely defeats the encryption that their WPA2 provides. Most devices and routers currently rely on WPA2 to encrypt WiFi traffic, so chances are you are affected.

e-Channel Closures at Shenzhen Bay Border During Renovation

The self-service e-Channel stalls in the exit hall of Shenzhen Bay are undergoing construction from October 14th for about one month, ShekouNews reported today. The renovation is expected to take one month.

The goal is to replace 17 old stalls with 19 new ones; increasing the total number of stalls from 37 to 39. During the construction only 20 stalls will be available, so expect delays while exiting during busy times.

The article advises tourists to choose other exit halls such as Futian or Luohu, or avoid going during busy times; especially from 8:00-11:00 weekend mornings.

Typhoon KHANUN to Bring Heavy Rains to Shenzhen this Weekend

UPDATE: October 16, 2017: The Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau and the Hong Kong Observatory have cancalled their Typhoon Warnings.
UPDATE: The HKO issued the No. 1 Standby Signal at 10:40 p.m. October 15 to replace the No. 3 Strong Wind Signal. Additionally, the SZMB's rainstorm warning is also no longer in effect.
UPDATE: At 10pm, the Hong Kong Observatory estimated Typhoon Khanun to be about 310 kilometres west-southwest of Hong Kong, with maximum sustained winds near its center of 140 km/h. It is forecast to move west at about 20 km/h across the northern part of the South China Sea towards the vicinity of Leizhou Peninsula.
