According to the Futian Public Security Bureau Xiangmihu police station, more than 30 Million RMB was stolen from thousands of bank cards, the Nanfang Metropolis Daily reported earlier this month. 33 suspects have been arrested in a police sting investigating modified POS machines. Despite Typhoon Haima causing last minute changes to the schedule, the Maker Faire Shenzhen 2016 in Sea World, Shekou was a big success. One notable part of it was the first Drone Combat event held in Shenzhen on October 23rd.
At times things were a bit slow as the audience waited for defeated drones to get back into fighting mode, but overall there were plenty of exciting moments. The announcers did a good job of keeping people entertained during downtimes by doling out gifts and asking questions of the audience.
